Jackie Mittoo

Jackie was a cornerstone of the Studio One story having started playing with the Skatalites, who operated as Studio One’s house band. While never a true member of top bands like the Sound Dimension he still played an important role creating organ instrumentals on top of some of Studio One’s greatest and most enduring rhythms.  You’ll hear vocals, solos, and plain exuberance, and you’ll always hear soul.
