Jennifer Lara

Lara came to Studio One in 1969 and quickly became part of the family singing backgrounds for Dennis Brown, Sugar Minott. Johnny Osbourne and Freddie McGregor. She sang backgrounds with nearly everybody. Lara did duets with Freddie McGregor and Johnny Osbourne. She recorded a number of singles like Sukiyaki and Turn Turn Turn before Studio One released the Presenting Jennifer Lara album, still considered one of the best female vocal albums in Reggae.
