Lennie Hibbert

Hibbert was already an established artist in Jamaica before he recorded the Cration series. In the early 60s he appeared regularly at the Myrtle Bank Hotel, as the Lennie Hibbert Combo, that included Janet Enright on guitar who played on some early Studio One recordings. The Creation series featured his vibraphone stylings over both Studio One rhythms and original material. Chinese Beauty, one of his best tracks, is always in demand.
